Ingredients
ROLLS:
1 Packet dry active yeast ( 2 1/4 teaspoons)
¼ Cup Warm water
½ Cup Milk
½ Cup Buttermilk
¼ Cup Granulated sugar
1 Egg
Pinch of salt
3 ½ Cups All-purpose flour
2 Tablespoons Softened unsalted butter
HONEY CINNAMON BUTTER:
4 Tablespoons Butter, softened and unsalted
½ Teaspoon Cinnamon
2 Teaspoons Honey
1 Tablespoon Confectioners sugar
Instructions
- Activate yeast in warm water.
- Warm milk and buttermilk; mix in butter.
- Combine milk mixture, yeast, sugar, salt, and flour to form dough.
- Add egg, then gradually add remaining flour.
- Let dough rise, roll out, and shape into rolls.
- Let shaped rolls rise.
- Bake at 400°F for 12-15 minutes.
- Mix ingredients for honey cinnamon butter.
Notes
Substitute instant yeast if needed.
Store leftovers in an airtight container.
Rolls can be frozen for later use.
